There's a first for everything....

I truly enjoy blogging about our journey as parents and sharing all the pictures of our family with you...but most of all I hope that one day Kennedy and Presley will love reading this blog and cherish each memory I have tried to capture for them. Our girls bring us so much joy everyday!

A Merry Christmas!

I have come to peace with the fact that from now on blogging will be harder to fit in but I am ok with it...So I hope you enjoy this Christmas season post even if it's almost February, haha!
We kept pretty busy over the holiday with a visit from Nini, Uncle Eric, and Maw Maw, going to church, visiting Santa, spending time with our family and friends, and of course lots of house stuff in between!  Unfortunately we ALL got sick at different times over the course of the month so that put a damper in some of the fun but we got through it and tried to make the best of it.  Kennedy still loved Christmas morning in our new house and all the gifts, even if she doesn't get it quite yet.  She is turning into a little girl right before our eyes and is so much fun to watch!

Kisses for Daddy while we wait for the Live Nativity at Uncle Tim's and Aunt JaMamaw's Lutheran Church.  This nativity was seriously awesome even if we didn't get to see it all, I can't wait until Kennedy truly understands the meaning of Christmas.

 Twins??!!

So serious but so pretty!  She was watching the live orchestra.

Driving around local neighborhoods with hot chocolate, listening to Christmas music, and looking for Christmas lights will be a new tradition for this family.  This was a street in Winter Park that was full of the coolest light lanterns.  Kennedy was in awe!

Is it snowing in FLORIDA?!  Not really but the fake snow was fascinating too!  We met up with some friends at a Holiday Festival in DeLand and went on a train ride too.

She didn't know what to do with herself!

Thanks to the help of Maw Maw, Nini, and Uncle Matty, we finally got our Christmas tree up a week before Santa came!  Teamwork makes the Dreamwork!

Happy Christmas Baby going to visit Santa!

 I love her!

 Walking the mall with Momma!

 Just playing around!

Showing off her new dress from Audrey, we got so many compliments on it!

 Our little monkey!

We can't get enough pictures of her!

She wasn't scared of Santa, she just wanted down!  A lot different than last year when she was sleeping!  I love this Santa at the Millenia.

Obsessed with water!

Santa Hat photo shoot in another cute outfit from cousin Audrey...

 The girls in their hats!

 I love this one!

My mom and I pulled together our Christmas mantle last minute but it was cozy :)
We even added an extra stocking for Baby G2!  So far this winter we have only been able to have a few fires though.

 Throwback, haha!

All dressed up for Christmas Eve Church.  Thanks Auntie for the pretty dress!

The best we could get...it was nice to go to church this year with the family.

Here's my crazy family, lol!  You can see Baby G2 is growing too!

Christmas morning....Kennedy was so into these Hallmark singing/dancing things!

 That's our Boo Bear!

Riding on her princess car from Uncle Tim and Aunt JaMamaw, she loved it!

Getting into her stocking boot from Nini!  I remember this was a favorite thing for my brothers and I to do too with our Nini.

Playing ball with Uncle Air Wick!

 Checking out her new toys!

Her Saints tutu from the fam in Houston...her Graf fam will appreciate this !  As you can see Kennedy is clearly more interested in eating the ornaments...I am surprised she isn't throwing them!

Daddy being silly...and Kennedy still eating the ornament, haha!

Playing with her new toy from Uncle Matty.

With her new dress on from Miss Rachel, her nanny :)  Yes it was warm enough to be in this on Christmas unfortunately!

Uncle Todd and Landon came over that night to play too!

I love this one...she is always analyzing books, cards, DVDs...it's so cute.  She was carrying around Todd and Landon's card all night!

This one is for you Sharon!  Uncle Bucci opening his beautiful book from you guys, he loved it!

We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and the New Year has started off right!  We love and miss you all!

Thanksgiving 2012

Forgot I had a few from Thanksgiving to share too.  We went to The DeLand Stockyard with Gramps, Uncle Todd, Landon, and Uncle Matty this year.  It was not the traditional dinner, but I have to say their buffet was pretty yum and the atmosphere was cozy...Kennedy loved the rolls just like her Uncle Matty!  It was a nice family dinner, just missing a few people!

We do attempt family pictures, Kennedy just doesn't get it yet :)

Kennedy and Landon watching Nemo while the adults eat...yes we are those parents.

 Eating her rolls!
 The girls :)

 Showing his Daddy the fireplace!

Just eating and watching a little tube :)

 What are you doing Nemo?!!

 Thanksgiving Photoshoot before dinner :)

Daddy's hungry for some ribs!  She loves this!
 Just a funny face!
Giving Mommy some kisses...she is even better at it now and closes her lips, love it!
 This turkey is done!
 Playing with Mommy!
I think she is worn out!
I had to post this one...Kennedy weighing in after her Thanksgiving Feast, haha!

Annual Christmas Tree Picking!

We pre-ordered our tree from the Orlando YMCA again this year and on December 1st, went to pick it out as a family.  We had just moved into our new house 2 days prior and Kennedy was beginning to come down with a cold, but she still made the best of it and loved running among all the trees.  Rusty is so good at choosing just the right one so it didn't take long.  I am kind of embarrassed to say that it is now December 16th and our tree is still sitting in the stand in our garage waiting for us to make room for it in our new house.  Next year I will get it together...well maybe!  Maw Maw gets here Tuesday and Nini on Thursday so I think we will have some help decorating then :)

Lovin' on Momma!

Showing off her Santa shirt from Nini!

 And her cute boots :)

Loves picking up rocks and THROWING them, along with anything else she comes across.

Which one should we pick Kennedy?

Our friendly helper holding up our 2 choices.

Not the best family picture but this is the Graf Family Christmas Tree 2012!  Can't wait to get it decorated!

Festival of Trees at the Orlando Museum of Arts

We have been recruiting anyone and everyone to help us pack and also get our new house ready to move in to next week...my friend Lonnie was nice enough to volunteer his time to help paint the ceilings (so fun) along with Uncle Matty who has been slaving over there with Rusty on many occasions these days!  Since I am NO help in the construction zone and neither is Kennedy, we took Lonnie's wife Zandra and his daughter Avery with us to the Festival of Trees in Orlando for the day.  We weren't prepared for the beautiful "art" everywhere that was off limits to touch so it was hard work keeping the little ones away from all the temptation!  We still had fun though...and even got to see a special someone with a white beard and a red suit :)

Wish I could have gotten more pictures of the beautiful decorated trees inside but I was too busy running after Kennedy so she wouldn't force me to BUY something!  All the themed trees were donated to the museum by local companies or artists and the public were open to purchase them.  All proceeds went back to the museum. This was a really neat event.

Standing by the angel tree looking out in awe!

Kennedy is going in for kisses and Avery is not interested!  She was so excited!

Taking a moment to listen to the children's orchestra playing.

 They were very good!

 Now on to SANTA!

I want your glasses, haha!  He kept asking her what she wanted for Christmas :)

And she is done!  She wasn't scared of him, she just wanted down!

After I picked her up, Santa wanted me to sit on his lap, haha!  Thanks Zandra for taking the pictures.

 It's Avery's turn next!

She wasn't so sure about this man!

But she did give him a hug good-bye....look at her cute boots!

Onto the kids area to play in the gingerbread house...everyone was stomping in it and Kennedy didn't know what to think of it!

They had fun going IN and OUT!

Watch out Avery, Kennedy is getting crazy with the blocks!

I had to include this picture since clearly Zandra and I are the only ones who got the memo to smile...well besides the cute little boy on the right who is not with us :)

We decided to take our fun outside next....

Kennedy is telling Avery that she likes her boots!  And Avery is telling Kennedy that she likes her pretty dress that used to be her cousin Audreys :)

They loved this big tree!  The girls look so small.  We had fun on our girls day out!
