There's a first for everything....

I truly enjoy blogging about our journey as parents and sharing all the pictures of our family with you...but most of all I hope that one day Kennedy and Presley will love reading this blog and cherish each memory I have tried to capture for them. Our girls bring us so much joy everyday!

Kennedy's FIRST day of school!

We decided to put Kennedy in the Maitland Presbyterian church school right up the road from our house.  She is in the toddler class Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9-1 until the end of May and then she will start the 2 year old class in August, same times.  She is LOVING school and we are so happy.  It was definitely bittersweet dropping her off and she didn't cry, just started playing with the kids...but I knew she was ready for it!  The teachers are great and the environment is perfect.  She is learning so much already.  So our baby girl is growing up...here are a few pictures from her first day.

On the slide (her teacher sent me this one)

Big girl having snack (and this one)

Her teacher Miss Suzie.  Rusty was taking these pictures as I was crying in the corner to the other teacher.  Hormones didn't help, as it was 4 days after Presley was born that she started school!

 Checking out her new room!

Girl in the corner is showing some skin, haha!

This is what Kennedy looks like most days when I pick her up!  She plays hard!

Welcome to the World Presley Rose!

So this post is way overdue but I don't think I even need to explain why!  Sweet Presley arrived on March 28th at 8:50 AM, 6 lbs 13 oz, 18 1/2 inches long.  She was delivered at the same hospital as her sister (Winter Park Memorial Baby Place) by the same favorite, best ever, Dr. K.  The most perfect moment was when Rusty looked down at me to tell me that the IT that had been amazingly growing in me for 39 weeks, was actually a SHE.  So glad we waited, best surprise we have ever gotten! We were so full of emotion to have another precious baby girl.  Anyways, so much to say but not too much time to talk.  We truly are so blessed with two beautiful, healthy daughters.  I am so happy they have each other as sisters, something I know I always wanted.  Enjoy the pictures!

Oh and thank you so much to all that have visited and brought food and gifts.  We have the best family and friends for sure!  I tried to get pictures of all the visitors Presley has had since she arrived, but I definitely missed a few.

Here she is, so sweet and pretty red lips!

Just missing one person this time!

I was so anxious to see her, tears of joy!  She looks so much like Kennedy did when she was first born.

 Meeting her Nini...

Her Uncle Matty and cousin Landon too.

Rusty is in TROUBLE with these 2 girls!

 Here's Uncle Johnny!

My best friend Tabatha was here for both my baby's births.  Thank goodness for her nails to scratch my back since I was so itchy after surgery, haha!

 Another Uncle...Todd!

 Aunt Tabatha

Aunt Nicki

All wrapped up, laying on my chest is still her favorite thing to do.

 I am so blessed.

I love this one because her little feet are sticking out and she is so awake!  You can also see her stork bite on her forehead.  Kennedy still has a little bit of hers.

The big moment of meeting her little sister. We missed Kennedy so much in just the few days we were at the hospital.  I couldn't wait for her to get there but then she was a little unsure of what was going on!

Something was funny...bet it was Daddy!
 The girls!

Presley's purple hat from the nurse, so sweet.

And we are home! I think she can stay momma!

She lays with her all the time!

She is so amazed that the baby moves, haha!

I wish you could hear the noises she makes when she is loving on her!

More visitors...Aunt Julie!  She was waiting so patiently (not!) for your arrival, haha!

 Kennedy can't be left out!

First bath...we give her a bath every night just like Kennedy.  I can't wait till they can take baths together!

Tired Mommy, clean baby!

 Wow!  (That's her new word!)
She would get in there with her if I would let her!

 There!  (her other fave word)

Hanging with Nini while I take Kennedy to school!

 Tummy time!

You will find her on my chest a lot!

 Sweet baby girl.

 Awake time!

We have to make sure we watch Kennedy carefully with Presley around, she gets so excited!  I love this picture!

My baby girls <3  It's amazing how big Kennedy looks now!
