There's a first for everything....

I truly enjoy blogging about our journey as parents and sharing all the pictures of our family with you...but most of all I hope that one day Kennedy and Presley will love reading this blog and cherish each memory I have tried to capture for them. Our girls bring us so much joy everyday!

Full of Expression!

I decided to do a little post with a few pictures we have caught of Kennedy's MANY expressions.  She brings a smile to our faces so many times during the day...leaving us wondering what she is really thinking??!!  Since she is so busy taking in the world around her, she is very attentive to her surroundings these days..."Everyone is a suspect" as Rusty says :)  I hope these bring a smile to your face too!

You want me to do WHAT, Daddy?!?

Hmmmm??  (notice the hands crossing and the tongue action...Rusty moves his tongue too when he thinks)

Happy Baby :)

Say WHAT??  Oh no you didn't!  haha

I love you Mommy!

Who me??!!

Huh??  I'm confused, can you repeat that??!!

We all know what this face is saying!  She may just scratch you if you don't stop taking pictures!

Stranger Danger!!

MeRrY ChRisTMaS!!

Even though Kennedy had no idea that the day was any different than any other, it was still a wonderful Christmas...and extra MERRY having her with us this year.  We started the weekend with Santa and last minute shopping.  Christmas Eve was spent with Uncle Bucci and family for a yummy brunch.  Kennedy actually sat and watched football with everyone while mommy got to eat and have a mimosa :)  Christmas day, after we opened a few presents, Rusty worked ALL day in the kitchen cooking a delish meal (with a little help from me!)for our family that lives close by.  It was nice to have everyone over. I think we got off easy this year as far as gifts...she just doesn't get it yet...and that is a YET Daddy :)

I am pretty sure Santa came to visit this baby girl :)

I mean, look at that sweet face!

Playing with mommy...Super Girl!!!!

Oh my goodness look at all the presents!!

Loving her new CD player from Maw Maw

Kennedy loved the wrapping paper...hand to mouth...so it begins!

Our turkey, haha

The secret to the MOST juciest turkey you will ever have...cajun injection!!

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas too!  Now bring on the NeW YeaR!!

Very First Visit to Santa!

I had in my mind that Kennedy would probably cry when we put her in Santa's arms...but this was not the case at all...she slept right through it...even with Santa's real, bushy beard rubbing her face!  I am just glad we caught it on camera since she was all dressed up in her Christmas best from her Maw Maw.

Before and After Santa...

I love that he is holding her hand, so sweet :)

And of course a family picture for the memory book!

All Smiles these days....and catching some zzzzz's too!

Kennedy is 16 weeks this week and has been a busy little girl lately as you see on the blog!  I can't believe how much she changes every time I get her out of the crib :)  She is learning all about the world around her, using those five senses...and now her voice to tell us all about it!  So cute.  The time gets away from me during the day because I just sit and talk to her and watch her smile at me.  She now makes noises with her tongue, moving it all around.  She tries to mimic me I think.  She loves to play with her feet, watch colorful shows, run with mommy, smile at her daddy, and stand up tall and look at EVERYTHING.  She is very observant to detail, gets that from her mommy for sure!  Here are a few pictures from the past couple weeks.  We hope to visit Santa this week so I will post that next if I get a good one :)

I think she has a dimple :)

Love my babies!

Running sure wears me out!

I think her swaddling days are coming to an end, she breaks out now constantly, tear :(  She loves sleeping in her swing!

And sleeping in her Bjorn...she lives the life for sure!

Oh and she likes to nap on mommy and daddy's bed too :)  Look at those cheeks!
She loves to TRY and hold her bottle now.  I love watching her learn what she can do with her hands.

She is telling Santa what she wants for Christmas, love this picture!  My sweet angel face!

Our First Anniversary 12-17-10

Wow, what just one year can bring.  This year has been the BEST year of my life.  I married my best friend and we have been blessed with a healthy, beautiful baby girl.  She brings us so much joy.  Rusty and I celebrated our first anniversary in New York City the weekend before...and then the day of we went to our favorite restaurant, Hillstone in Winter Park (used to be Houstons).  It was so yummy and a perfect night!  Kennedy loved mommy's flowers.  I think she is really loving her five senses these days :)

It all started with "I DO" and a kiss :)
And then..........
And then.........
Think PINK....Kennedy Anne Graf 8-31-11
And NOW........

Mommy's pretty flowers from Daddy :) and my pretty girl!
She was fascinated!

I love this one...please look at her hair!!!

Happy First Anniversary Baby and here's to many more!  Thank you for making me smile every single day, I love you so much!

Our first FAMILY vacation

I am sure all parents think twice before they travel with an infant, thinking they just might be "that parent with a screaming child" on the plane...or at least I had those thoughts when we decided to take our first vacation with Kennedy.  BUT she did awesome and we were proud parents!  Although, I will say, traveling with an infant and all the things that go along with them is a whole new ball game...thank goodness Rusty was with me!  Kennedy slept most of the trip there and back and when we were in the airport, she loved watching all the people and craziness as she sat comfortably in her baby Bjorn!  I did get the experience of changing her diaper in the very small plane bathroom!  Ugh!

Ok so back to the vacation...we flew into Providence to see Nini and all the rest of our Rhode Island family.  Her face was classic as we walked out into the freezing weather!  She is such a Florida girl!  Kennedy was in awe of all the people she got to meet, and loved Missy's two labs Sonny and Pippy.  Rusty and I left Kennedy with Nini for the weekend and drove to New York City for a pre-anniversary getaway and for a friend's wedding in the city.  We missed Kennedy SO much but really had a great time...we <3 NYC and it was all decorated for the holiday!  We went to see a great Broadway show this trip too starring Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter).  Who knew he could sing and dance??!!  The wedding was so beautiful too and it was great to see our friends Gina and Michael.  One thing we didn't do was take many pictures, I know you are all surprised!  haha.  Here are the ones we did take, enjoy!

Our snow bunny checking out her new surroundings.

Exhausted from traveling all day, thank you Nini for borrowing everything I needed to be comfortable!

The only picture I have of Kennedy and Nini...Kennedy looks like she's seen a ghost, haha!  That is her cousin Madison who loved helping take care of her too :)

This is Kennedy meeting her Aunt Susan after she went to church....where she slept in the pew!  She is also wearing the BEAUTFUL hand knitted sweater her Aunt Dianne made for her, so sweet.

While Kennedy was busy with her Nini and being loved by all the family...Rusty and I were in NYC trying to stay warm and seeing the sights.  This is at Rockefellar Center near the tree.

We stayed right in Times Square...Happy 1st Anniversary to us!

The city was all lit up!  And we were trying to stay warm!

Of course I had to get Kennedy something!

This is the Broadway show we went to see,  it was great!

Celebrity Spotting...Guess Who?? :)

At the Sansone/Driscoll wedding :)  Never underestimate a NYC wedding, wow.  Oh and there was SO much food!

The beautiful bride Gina!

There were windows all around the building to see the view of the city.  We really had a great time!

Ok, back in Rhode Island to see our sweet angel that we missed SO much!  She changed over the weekend and seemed to really find her "voice" telling us lots of stories about her time with the family!

The girl cousins representing :)

Kennedy loved spending quality time with Missy.

She got to meet her Uncle Burt too...so many new faces!

Mommy missed her so much!

I know this is a silly picture, but she is talking to me about her weekend :)

The boys will kill me for this picture but it's the best one I had with her Uncle Oh Low!!

ThAnK You Mom for a great vacation!  We could really enjoy ourselves knowing that our baby girl was being so well taken care of and loved by so many people.  We appreciate EVERYTHING you did for us all.  We love and miss you all so much already!
