8 months already??!!

I will mark this month as the beginning of a soon to be ON THE GO little girl!  Kennedy is trying to crawl...but for now she is mastering a scoot...determined to get what she wants!  She is also learning to do so much more with her little hands...pinching (ouch!), squeezing (mostly her toys but sometimes mommy!), pushing (she pushes our hands away when ever we try to wipe her face!), and pulling (everything down!).  She can now put her binkie in her mouth and take it out, she is fascinated with this and I think now officially addicted!  She is still one curious baby, studying everything and everyone, taking in the world around her at every chance.  She just got her top, left tooth this week.  This one must have hurt because Mommy was hurting too from all the whining and weird sleep patterns, ugh.  Back to the positive, Kennedy is eating SO many vegetables and loving all the yummy mixtures I am making her.  I am so happy that eating FINALLY clicked for her...I knew it was in her, haha!  Her new favorite dessert is yogurt :)  Kennedy's hair is still growing, becoming more curly too and so beautiful.  Her little, or should I say big, personality makes us laugh daily.  I think it may be time to lay down some rules with our princess before it's too late!  Sorry for the excess pictures, I can't help it!!!!

More Fun in the Sun!

I am feeling behind on blogging...and all the pictures I have to post will prove it!  I am dying to blog about our wonderful trip to Louisiana but I don't have all the pictures yet.  For now, here are some of Kennedy enjoying the Spring weather.  She has the Graf "water"gene in her for sure and we can't wait for our pool to warm up enough to really take a swim.  We bought her a small blow up pool as you will see in the pictures...I am sure we will be using that a lot in the summer to cool off!  I also took Kennedy to a last minute, first trip to the beach in Ormond when we traveled there with Rusty for work.  She LOVED the sand but the water was still too cold for a swim.  This was my first experience with a baby at the beach alone...so much STUFF...and all I have to say is OH MY SAND!  :)  I am going to be so sad when she outgrows the Bumbo seat, where ever Kennedy goes, the Bumbo goes! 

 Of course she has her tongue out!  It was the perfect day for the beach!

DEFINITELY had her sunscreen on!  We are looking for a sun tent too.

Corporate 5K, Downtown Orlando...2nd Annual for me and Kennedy :)

Last year I ran this race with Kennedy in my belly...this year she was on the sidelines with Daddy cheering me on!  I was happy to see some of my Blue Lake peeps too and thankful they let me run with their team this year.  It was the perfect night for a run in the city, along side 14,000 others :)

I love when Rusty has free time at work to meet up with us for lunch.  He even took us on a picnic this week to Lake Lily park near his work.  The weather is perfect for that and Kennedy was loving the sights.  I can't wait to be able to put her in the swings, she is fascinated by them!  Rusty also wanted to be the first one in the pool with her so we headed for some fun in the sun!  When the pool is a little warmer, I am sure she will love swimming with her Daddy, but for now, she is enjoying the SpLasH!!  Here are some pics of us hanging out with our favorite guy :)  I love doing things as a FAMILY!
