There's a first for everything....

I truly enjoy blogging about our journey as parents and sharing all the pictures of our family with you...but most of all I hope that one day Kennedy and Presley will love reading this blog and cherish each memory I have tried to capture for them. Our girls bring us so much joy everyday!

We are HOMEOWNERS!

On October 9th, 2012 Rusty and I purchased our very first home together!  Here's to more space for our growing family and for guests, a yard for our kids to play in, a garage for Daddy, a fireplace to hang our stockings from, and the sound of giggles and little feet down the halls!  The house is in Maitland, FL (about 10 miles from Orlando)...closer to both of our works and where Kennedy goes to the nanny.  There is A LOT of work to be done but we are very excited for the memories ahead.  Rusty is in heaven with all his visions of "what this house CAN be"!!  Kennedy, Baby G2, and I will just wait patiently :)  I will be sure to keep the blog updated with the progress of the renovations...in my spare time that is!

Signing on the dotted line! Yay!

Home, Sweet Home!
Take a good look because it will look different next time you see it! :)

What has Kennedy been up to since she turned ONE??!!

We went to a Halloween party this weekend and I had so many people come up to me and say "Kennedy is so BUSY...and you are ready for another one??!!"!  Ha!  Ready or not, we have another one on the way!  Yes she is a busy almost 14 month old girl...exploring everything she finds, jibber jabbering constantly, running faster than her legs can carry her, laughing at her Daddy, and loving life on the move!  She is testing her limits now too (the world of NO has begun!) and gets smarter every day.  I feel like every time I pick her up in the afternoons after work, she is doing something new.  The latest is she tries to climb up on the couch.  Watching her hike that little leg up is so funny and she looks like such a big girl...she gets so frustrated when she can't quite make it :(  Instead of rambling here, I will let you see for yourself what she's been up to.  My pictures have dwindled to mostly cell phone shots since my time with her is more limited these days.

Sunday grocery shopping in her new favorite cart!

Waiting for Mommy to pick her up :) But she has fun with Miss Rachel and Daniel every day!

Morning Movie with her water and her ball...she loves throwing balls!

Dressed up and excited for her friend Camille's first birthday party!

Pooped out after the party with Mommy, I love snuggle time!

 Our sweet angel face!

She loves to drink water from the faucet in the tub! She really loves water!

She also likes to chew on most anything as she gets the last of her teeth.

Fun at Lake Eola with Mommy and Daddy!

Te-bowing, haha! And growing hair!

 Make yourself comfy Kennedy!

One of her FAVE things to do is go outside and play in the driveway or yard with sticks and leaves!

Big girl at the mall on the escalator!

She always runs into our room and jumps with NO fear into the pillows!

Another FAVE...cords, strings, or anything she can twirl and drag around! And yes the cords are unplugged, and yes she is supervised at all times!

Cheering for Asher at his T-Ball game...it was a real cliffhanger, haha!

Go Asher, first baseman in blue!

Yay Asher!

Family picture compliments of Aunt Nicki!

Candid family moment at the game compliments of Aunt Nicki again :)

At the Halloween party, AKA Pumpkinpalooza...can you find Kennedy?  So fun!

Are you ready for some football??!! Fall is here!

Well it doesn't quite feel like Fall yet, although this week it has been in the 80's!  BUSY is the best word to describe how our lives are right now and I am pretty sure that won't change for a while. Working, a NEW house, growing a new baby, football season, fun fall festivities, trying to prepare for this half marathon, and of course the busy bee herself, Miss Kennedy, all keep our calendars and our minds pretty CrAzY!  But it is mostly all GOOD stress and we are feeling very blessed these days for sure.  Here are a few pictures from Kennedy's first real UCF football game and a few other randoms pictures I have squeezed in :)

Umm I am not so sure of all these people??!!  But I look cute :)

Here we go!  She actually didn't even flinch at the noise and chaos of the stadium!

She is getting so big!  She loved the cheerleaders and the band coming out.

Joining in on the cheering!  Go Knights!

 Watching intensely with mommy.
Trying to catch her clapping but instead we caught this.  All the pictures were taken on my cell phone so sorry they are a little distorted.  Kennedy loved her first game and is looking forward to many more!

And sometimes we leave Kennedy home :)

We are converting Matt, haha!

A friend of mine made my shirt, so cute!

Hottest game EVER, I was so burnt by the end of the day!

This is what Kennedy was doing while we were sweating...a friend of mine from high school was in town so our nanny Rachel watched the girls for the day.  Malin didn't understand why Kennedy wasn't potty trained??  HAHA!

And we can't forget about NFL...Go Jags!  She can't be fans of ALL Daddy's teams!

Halftime Lake break....Kennedy loves being outside playing!

Practicing her cheerleading skills with Daddy, she's a natural :)
