There's a first for everything....

I truly enjoy blogging about our journey as parents and sharing all the pictures of our family with you...but most of all I hope that one day Kennedy and Presley will love reading this blog and cherish each memory I have tried to capture for them. Our girls bring us so much joy everyday!

Rhode Island Adventures!

Let's just call Miss Kennedy the jet setter!  She now, at almost 11 months old,  has SUCCESSFULLY taken 3 round trips on an airplane to visit family.  Notice that I capped the word successfully because she has once again put my nerves at ease by being such a good girl on the plane.  We flew without Rusty again and she was still good...although we were both tired from all the traveling and the busy-ness of our vacation.  Nini SPOILED Kennedy while we were there, and me too!  She even got her first pair of real shoes for those soon to be walking feet!  We had fun visiting with all the family, but I think everyone really had more fun playing with Kennedy and seeing how much she has changed :)  There were so many faces to see everyday that I am sure now that we are back, she is bored, haha!  I think in the week we were gone, she became MUCH more mobile and adventurous (I am getting my exersise now chasing after her!).  As you will see in the pictures, she mastered Nini's stairs, LOVED playing with Sonny and Pippy (the family Labs), and also enjoyed our two special outings to the Roger Williams Zoo in Providence and the Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut.  Thank you Nini for a GREAT trip and everyone else for putting up with a baby in the house for the week :)  We love and miss you all already!

At the airport...Mommy is tired and Kennedy is excited...and too big for the Bjorne now!

Picnic by the pond enjoying the beautiful weather!

Out to breakfast for Auntie Missy's birthday...she was so intrigued with Uncle Eric.

Pooped out from traveling...her signature position with the flipped hand :)

I went to get my nails done and Kennedy stayed to play with Auntie...she loved her little drum!  It's the little things for sure!

 The stairs!

The stairs again...changing her diaper was a pain since she she wasn't confined to the table!

This was the daily feeding extravaganza!  The dogs loved having Kennedy there, haha!

She wasn't scared of them at all, she got so excited when she saw them!

Trip to the Roger Williams Zoo, perfect weather too!

 Madison and Missy

Kennedy of course has the sunscreen in her mouth!

 Madison was quite the photographer!

Zebra booties!

Looking at the antelope??  There were so  many different animals there, I am not sure what these are!  haha!

 The elephant eating!

The giraffes came right up to us!

 Pretty Madison!

Waiting for the elephants to get a bath, so cute!

 I love this picture...cousins!

The Bald Eagle.  There were so many cool animals at this zoo, we had fun!

This is blurry but every morning, this was how Kennedy was greeted!  She loved it!

Madison helping Kennedy with her puzzle.

On our way to the Aquarium!

The baby Beluga white whales were my favorite!

 So cute!

Touching the sting rays...or really Kennedy was just splashing!
Eric is getting in on the action!

We were surrounded by aquariums with all kinds of sea creatures, Kennedy was in awe and a little nervous!

There's NEMO!

 She loves her Nini!

 Mother/Daughter :)

The penguins!

The Sea Lion let out a big roar when we walked by!

And pooped out again from the busy weekend of fun...I love taking pictures of her sleeping :)

 Hanging with the family!
Eating outside in the nice weather!

Playing with Sonny!  She really did love the dogs!
Riding on Uncle Eric's wheelchair, haha!  That thing is fast!

Playing with Nini and Uncle Eric, she loves to climb over everyone!

We had such a great visit and as you can see, stayed very busy!  XO!

Bed, Bath, & Beyond!

Ok so I stole the catchy title but it's still cute for the pictures I need to post.  Kennedy loves to be on our bed, but she really only likes to actually sleep in her crib (a good thing I guess).  In the mornings Rusty brings her in to see me and she lights up with this big Good Morning smile.  She also likes to just roll and play in the pillows and sheets.  And every once in a while I can get her to snuggle up with mommy for a rest :)  Kennedy also loves her bath time.  She is such a water baby and seems to have no fear.  Water in her face doesn't bother her but getting her hair washed isn't her fave.  God knows we have to keep that head full of hair of hers cleaned every day!  So here are some fun pictures of Kennedy enjoying the bed and bath :)

This one was a framer!  Her smile is so contagious!

 Kissable lips!
 Kisses for Daddy <3

Tickles from Daddy!  She giggles all the time now, so cute.

Caught one of her faces...wish you could hear the sounds she was making!

She does this all the time, dives into the sheets and pillows :)

Hi Mommy!  Somebody needs a hair clip, haha!

Sometimes if she wakes up from her nap too early, she will let me bring her into bed with me and will roll around till she gets comfy and falls asleep for a little bit longer.  This was the perfect Saturday nap!  Oh and she doesn't like covers at all, just like her Daddy!

Mommy likes to get in on the bath time fun now too!

 OMG the cutest booty ever!

Sweet face...looks like she just got caught doing something wrong, haha!

I had to include this one because it is so cute when she plays with my belly button.  She loves to stick those little fingers in everything!

I just liked the water in this one!

 Showing off her teeth!

She always sucks on her bath toys!

Hi big girl!  She is spoiled with that big tub to play in!
