This Kind of Love...: May 2013

Easter 2013...way late

Easter fell 3 days after Presley was born so that's my excuse. The day is a little bit of a blur since I was so tired and distracted BUT we did celebrate it with the family. Here a some pictures from the egg hunt, Kennedy and Landon had a blast!

We had a little egg hunt in the morning when she woke up.

Kennedy is loving school, I catch her singing and dancing all the time. She also plays hard and her legs have new bruises and cuts on them every day. She isn't bothered by most falls and loves a new adventure. She is so happy. On her days home, we have been staying busy with play dates and activities. She is so much fun right now and seriously a BALL OF ENERGY. Can I get some of that please??!! Enjoy the pictures!

Kennedy started survival swim lessons last week. Although she cries a lot, I know it is worth it. Just praying she still loves the water as much as she does when this is all said and done :( Here she is waiting to go outside in her swim diaper :)

The splash pad at the zoo was a HIT! Kennedy loved it and could care less about the animals, haha!

A friend of mine invited us to an open gym at a gymnastics place nearby. Kennedy loved this too! It was perfect for her busy self. Wide open spaces and soft mats. There she goes!

All this fun landed us in the Drs office with an ear infection :(

But she got a lollipop to make it all better!

And Uncle Matty went with us to help keep her happy :)

Back to the gym the next week, seriously the best $5 I have ever spent for 2 hours of fun. She crashes after, perfect!

She made a new friend and wanted to hold hands. He was so shy and Kennedy was determined to get him to jump with her. So cute.

Presley's First Month and then some...

It's Mother's Day today and I am doing something that I love to do while my babies are sleeping...BLOG. I know it sounds crazy, but taking pictures, writing, and sharing it all with my family and friends is something I truly enjoy. I am just a little obsessed with taking pictures of my kids, haha. I am playing catch up before I head back to work Wednesday this week...tears. BUT it is only for 3 weeks, I can do it, it could be worse. My Auntie is here to take care of sweet Presley and Kennedy will continue to go to school and our neighbor will help watch her too. Presley will be 7 weeks this Thursday and is changing every day! She is much more awake now, but is a GREAT sleeper at night (7 hours!). She is cooing and smiling some too. Kennedy loves on her all the time. I love that she looks for her now around the house and is always by my side to help with diaper changes. She is my little shadow! Kennedy is almost 21 months and is exploring the world these days. She is talking a lot but still not totally making sense. We keep waiting for her to bust out with a sentence! She says WOW in context and it is so sweet. She also says something that sounds like please, cheese, trees, and see all at once. Her personality is unfolding right before our eyes and she makes us laugh everyday! I could go on and on about both of them but I am working on NAP time :)

Some more visitors for the new little one. Miss Melody, a friend of mine and my moms. She and I coached Girls on the Run together at my school too.

Miss Cindy came to get some snuggles since her grandkids are getting so big!

My good friend Natalie. I am holding her sweet cheeks on my lap, Brady. She is 7 months old. She should be my daughter with that full face, haha! I wonder who Brady will play with more, Kennedy or Presley?
