There's a first for everything....

I truly enjoy blogging about our journey as parents and sharing all the pictures of our family with you...but most of all I hope that one day Kennedy and Presley will love reading this blog and cherish each memory I have tried to capture for them. Our girls bring us so much joy everyday!

Parade of Costumes!

Halloween day was such a fun day this year.  Kennedy had school that day and it was their Fall Festival and costume parade.  Uncle Matty was able to come spend the day with us and be at all the fun festivities too.  I seriously love all the cute school holiday fun, it reminds me of teaching, but even better because I am on the other side of the stress of a bunch of kids with candy, haha.  Kennedy loved it too and was so proud to have her family in her classroom on this special day.  We got lots of double takes and smiles when Kennedy got into costume.  You couldn't miss her bright red wig in the parade and the kids couldn't help but pet her.  Did I mention how adorable this parade was??!!

Ready for Halloween day!  Well they are...I look tired and yes I was...but this is a memory!

Sharing her lunch with Uncle Matty.

 Kennedy's classroom.

 Kennedy's creative bag.

Getting ready for the parade.  She only wanted her Daddy to dress her!

Quick pic with Momma.  Look at that wig on that sweet face.

 Hey, what about me??!!

Lining up for the parade.  This is one of Kennedy's teachers Ms. Andi, she's awesome.

 Cuties.

Princess Ariel at her finest. Converse and all!

 They loved her new hair!

Kennedy's friend Lila.  I loved her costume!

Going in for the hug whether you want it or not!

Walking in the parade with her Daddy!
I love this photo, look at her holding his finger.  So sweet.

 Marching around the school!

 Here we come!

And go...can you imagine what the cars thought, haha!

My big girl.  I was so proud.  I know, I am so sentimental.

This was the 4 yr old class bringing up the rear.  There was another Ariel if you can see her.

Such a fun Halloween morning at her school!  An advantage of a church school...they can do these kinds of things for the kids' (and parents') enjoyment.  I had to ask permission to have my students dress up like Indian tribes for a Social Studies project last year and it was barely approved in fear of being too stereotypical.  Sorry, had to throw that in there.  Feeling blessed!
